On Friday, January 28, 43 students participated in the Jefferson Middle’s School Spelling Bee. After six rounds of perplexing spelling, five students qualified as finalists. In an intense head to head challenge consisting of five rounds, two finalists were determined.
We are proud to announce 7th grader Jackson Hayes as the 2010-2011 Thomas Jefferson Middle School Spelling Bee Champion. Congratulations Jackson! Jackson will compete in the district wide Spelling Bee on February 18th. Good luck Jackson!
