- Mikayla Johnson, 7th grade, was auditioned and selected to participate in the 2010 Middle School Honors Chorus.
- Ms Walters was sworn in as the North Carolina Music Educators Association Middle School Choral President prior to the concert by Boston Brass on Monday evening.

- TWELVE Jefferson students were named to the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools All-County Band!
- 8th grade students Erin Jameson, Elyse Allen, Evan Lowrance, Maria Roberts, Dakota Sawyer, Mathis Nedell, Christopher Tomlinson, Vincent Patella, Peter Bi, and Aaron Radford all made the band,
- plus 7th graders Gordon Davis & Waylon Joyner.
- Bassoonist Evan Lowrance is the top chair in the county!
- These band students will be participating in the All-County Honor Band Clinic on November 19 & 20 at RJ Reynolds High School. Way to go Patriot Band Members!
