Kudos to Mrs. Hartle for helping Ms Mooney's sub while Ms. Mooney was taking time with the recent loss of her Mother. Ms. Hartle also wanted to recognize the 5 reflection contest winners from her homeroom!

Great news from Mr. Atkinson who was awarded a Grant for $700.00 !
Speaking of Mr. Atkinson, what a fantastic job that he and Mr. Bryant did in demonstrating the technology of the 21st Century classrooms at the PTA open house on Thursday, December 8th! Also, kudos should be given to the other members of the technology committee including Ms. Holland and Mr. Schnably who worked on the technology brochure.

Ms. Peverall praised her students who ran in the Mistletoe race in Winston-Salem this December: JP Hayes, Brock Newsom,Spencer VanFleet, Starnice and Staraya galloway, Jackie Lin, and Nick Mandragona ran the 5k mistletoe race (fitness club members) on Saturday Dec 4th

Mr. Cardarelli celebrated December with a cake to commemorate the fact that Jefferson Middle School achieved high growth for five consecutive years a feat shared by only 24 (out of 433) other Middle Schools in the state of North Carolina. This represents an achievement only 5% of schools have attained.
